The tit for tat behaviour from Europe over our refusal to deliver millions of promised AstraZeneca jabs has overnight vindicated that Europe is a bully we can do well without and that the UK is winning the fight on vaccination. This neatly overrides 100,000 deaths, mental ill-health for the old, the vulnerable, the young and almost everyone in between, unnecessary chaos in the education system, a blind eye turned to Covid conditions in factories and an intolerance of homelessness and food poverty that is beyond belief.
