I am half-vaccinated with Astrazeneca. I have a cardboard card the size of a credit card to keep in my wallet. It does not have my name on it. It has the date and the batch number. It does not have the date of my second vaccine.
The Government is rushing through this vaccination programme. This flimsy card will not be my passport to travel like a yellow fever certificate. No doubt there will be more chaos and profiteering as people are charged to buy ‘vaccination visas’ to travel abroad.
I have not been in such close contact with a crowd of people since before March 22nd 2000. One metre apart in masks with volunteers coming and going, queuing under a low ceiling, windows and fire doors firmly shut. I wonder how many of us caught Covid in the queue.
How did Captain Tom Moore catch Covid, by the way?
