Last April Sizewell tore down hedgerows along Lovers Lane filled with nesting birds. There was an outcry and they promised not to do it again.
On April 6th work commences on the Theberton Bypass from the A12 to the site. Pretty Road, named after Edith Pretty, will be closed for a year. Fields, woodland, three hundred year old oak trees and bramble will be destroyed. The nightingales arrive from West Africa in April.
