Coping mechanisms for the construction of Sizewell C and D?

Run for it!

I packed a bag for Bath, London, Kent and Scotland and took off with my senior rail card. When I left, Starmer promised the project £14.2 billion. When I returned, he had finally reached a Financial Investment Decision and pledged £38 billion to be doubly funded by the public through tax and bills.

It does work running away. Scotland is full of trees. I saw a 450 year old yew tree. Red squirrels. Acres and acres and acres of trees. And in the sea round Inverpolly a pod of dolphins leaping in parallel arcs by our sea boat. I think we should designate a Safe Space in Scotland for marine life with no cables, windmills, salmon farms for at least thirty miles like the whale sanctuary in Patagonia.

Water is the issue. Said Alice. Essex and Suffolk water comes from Northumbria. Sizewell has built no reservoirs and sprinkles water needed for growing the UK’s food onto piles of dust. I’m interested to see how much has happened in three weeks. A photographer friend sent an image of the Friday Street trees amputated but still standing.
